D class fare
I'm travelling on a business class RTW UA/Thai/AN ticket soon and note that the fare basis for UA is 'D' class.
FRom the ticketing info, I can use F seats in a 2 class aircraft in the USA.
However, I seem to remember that this has been described as a upgraded Y fare.
Does anyone know if class of service bonuses are applied as if it was J class ie + 125% or 100% as Y class ?

D is a discounted (but not upgraded) business fare. It is supposedly non-upgradeable to F using "standard" upgrade products. But other than that, all the terms and conditions of C (business) apply

the 'D' class automatically becomes First-class (with 150%) on UA's two-class-only inner-USA-Canada-Puerto Rico routings - it is downgraded to eco (with 100% only) on Mexico-USA and on mainland-Hawaii segments.
And outside N-America you CAN't upgrade business 'D' to international first (if they apply the official ruels, sometimes you can at check-in - against the rules).
