Quick Question: C class snack
I am flying ABQ-DEN-LAX this weekend. I have never flown a snack flight between Denver and LA. I always picked the B,L and D flights; however, due to work, I can only catch this snack flight on B744. It will depart at 7:50pm. What kind of snack service does it serve on its business class? From my experiences on other Denver to LA flight, Business class only get a hot dinner with no entree choice. How about its snack service (no choice too)? I only have forty minutes at Denver, so I don't have time to run to any fast food places. I just want to find out what snack will United have? Is it sandwich with Eli's cheesecake? Or worst?
Thanks for your help!

I just flew this flight on the 12th. In business we had a cold snack service which was pretty good, IMHO. Almost a full meal (certainly better that the full hot meal you would normally get on a Coach dinner flight). Choice of 2 cold entrees (no printed menu), a Chicken Breast sandwich, or a pasta dish, both accompanied by some sort of exotic mushroom cap and a salad. Dessert was a cookie. Not bad, I thought, for a 2 hour snack flight. Service was exceptional on my flight, and about 70% of the C seats were empty! New business seats with noise reduction headphones, back massage, personal video and tons of leg room. Have no fear of booking the forward bulkhead on this baby...it's 'da best!

Carfield: Welcome to the board, good to have you here.
Please see http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/Foru...ML/000365.html for a trip report on 2 C class flights SFO-DEN and DEN-SFO. We had full meal service, which I describe in the report.

Thanks for the info.
I was confirmed the upgrade last night. I was in 15A -- the emergency exit row in the upper deck. The flight does not look full to me.
My only wish is that my flight from ABQ will arrive on time, and my DEN-LAX flight will be on time too. If not, I will need to wait for two hours and catch the last flight back to LAX.
Anyway, thanks...

Welcome to F-T Carfield.
When you are done traveling, please post a little trip report on your experiences in C class snack service.
For all the new members: there's also a great board called "Who we all are" that allows you to tell as little or as muchof your life story as you want (mostly what programs you are with, job, family, cats at home, etc.)
DOn't be afraid to join the growing list of bios!

Will be interesting to see if they serve the same thing in C snack as F snack on 737 (which I will have DEN/OAK on sunday.)
