Need Help Recalling Summer Promo Code
I'm trying to get UA to cough up the bonus miles I'm supposed to get under the summer double-miles-for-full-fare-Y-or-better tickets promotion. Of course, MP tells me "we can't identify the promotional offer to which you are referring..."... and, of course, I click-registered on the UA website and failed to print a page copy for my records (I'm learning)...
Can anyone recall, or did anyone note, the MP promo code for this summer offer? You're a better man/woman than I am if so. Thanks in advance...

Yes, correct code. UA promotions are becomming very difficult to track and a pain to communicate with MP on thier system weaknesses.
I have the option of flying US or UA in the notheast (IAD to BOS and LGA are possibilities), and both US and UA are offering double-mileage promotions. I know that with US, the promotion mileage is posted within days. With UA it is months, and often a call to MP Customer Service, so I am reluctant to use the UA promotion while the US promotion is still in swing.

Why do I think UA is betting that a fair number of eligible flyers won't be able to recall so arcane a detail as an MP promo code...? "Can't identify the promotional offer to which you are referring," indeed.

I don't think there's anything evil on their part but they really do have a ton of promotions going and the agents don't seem to be well trained in searching them. Once you tell them it's 42 they should have no problem crediting it while you wait.

My bonuses for that code (and the other summer promotion offering double miles for certain overseas flights) posted during the first week in October without me having to "remind" them. For August/September flights, that's not all that long.
