.bomb and award itinerary

.bomb and award itinerary
Quick question:
Oftentimes, when I am searching for saver award inventory on .bomb, it will (predictably) tell me "Saver Award flights are not available on one or both of your selected dates", and then display a calendar with available days highlighted. Sometimes, the dates I've chosen are among those highlighted--but even when I choose them, it just displays the calendar again. What gives?
I'm guessing that there is actually *not* in fact inventory there, and that something is not being updated properly. For example, on a flight IAD->SEA, I can find flights IAD->DEN and DEN->SEA on the given day but the former arrives after the latter departs.
Have other people experienced similar issues?
