MP Statement Question

On MP statemnets, my trips in coach showed up as K class/fare. No matter which ticket I bought; my cheap ticket, K-fare, to Paris and full-fare, B-fare, all showed up as K.

Is this same for everybody else? When I asked about, I was told that MP keeps internal info that shows booking fare. I wonder why UA does this? Try to prevent high paying customers from defecting? I understand that if you provde a copy of your statement and other airlines will grant similar level of elite FF status.

Inquiring mind wants to know...

Deep dark secret: elite FF numbers are linked to revenue, meaning that when agent looks at your account, year to date revenue shows up too. So, a FFer generating 20K in revenue is more likely to get attention at the gate than one generating 5K, even though both are PremEx. Perhaps? It is or was that way at AA so it is a fair assumption that others do likewise.

UA gave me PremEx two years ago, even tho I had not flown them in three years, and this was based in part om my AAPlat status then. AA has offered me a return to Plat status even tho I have not flown them since their last strike but, because I am now lifetime Gold, I cannot see any advantage to me. But I do hear that to ask is to often receive.
