SFO Time Capsule
The next time you are at SFO, drop by gate 81. There is a time capsule on display that was buried by United employees in 1958 to be opened on January 1, 2000. Evidently, it was lost for several years when a maintenance facility was torn down and discovered a few years ago by accident. It's about 6 feet tall and supposedly full of interesting items from that era. Anybody venture to guess what might be in it?

TW has an interesting display in their gate area at MCI from about the same time period--uniforms, tickets, menus, etc
