Missing U-A credit
When my flight from DFW to EWR (connecting at O'hare) got cancelled because of the "Storm of the Century" the U-A gate agent filled out a form requesting credit for the flight.
Questions:
*Will these miles count toward my elite status (I'm guessing NO because I did not actually FLY!)
*How long should I wait before I got chasing
after United for the miles!
Any advice will be appreciated. Miles are a very valuable commodity! CATMAN

1) YES!
2) Give 'em a month, then give 'em hell. When I've done this, the miles normally appear in 2-3 weeks.
BTW, if it was a connection, make sure you get DFW-ORD *AND* ORD-EWR miles, not just the DFW-EWR miles (not sure if it makes a big difference, but it might)!
