E*TRADE Group Inc. and United Airlines today announced a marketing agreement to enable both E*TRADE customers and United Airlines Mileage Plus members to earn up to 50,000 Mileage Plus miles per year. Under the agreement, Mileage Plus members will have several options to earn Mileage Plus miles, including opening a new E*TRADE account and referring new customers to E*TRADE. The promotion is expected to begin in February 1999.
