Multi-leg ticket on UA - is waitlisting *A segments possible?
Quick question: I have a multi-leg international ticket (D) on UA stock with some legs on *A carriers. I tried to waitlist a SQ flight connection (earlier, i.e. I have an actual connection booked) and was told that UA cannot waitlist flights for other carriers. I remember distinctly that I just did this last month with LH. Is LH an exception, or was the agent wrong? What is the policy? Thanks.
