5/8 agents found this to be a legal routing

SFO-LAX (UA, in Y)
LAX-SIN (SQ)
20 hour layover
SIN-CPT (SQ)

JNB-SIN (SQ)
SIN-NRT (NH)
NRT-SFO (NH)
You were very lucky to get the Pacific routing to South Africa in C for 120,000. Normally those 120k awards are only for the Atlantic routing.

Booked one F award for travel this thanksgiving weekend

SFO-JFK (UA)
JFK-FRA (SQ)
FRA-VIE-FRA (OS)
FRA-ZRH-LAX (LX)
LAX-SFO (UA)

Try as I might, just couldn't get any intra-Germany flights on LH
Oh well, can't wait to check out the FCT.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I think you need to be arriving or departing in LH F in order to use the FCT......

Just booked

BOS-IAD-FRA RT for May/June '08 - 80k - X - 2 for Mrs. B. and myself. We plan to vacation in Deutschland, revisiting my old Army haunts from 40+ yrs ago. Herzoganaurach, Bad Aibling, Coburg. No available seats if F, but not too much problem in C.

I booked 3 C tickets last June

6/4/08 ORD - DTW - FRA - ATH C LH
6/14/08 ATH - FRA - DTW - ORD C LH

Again ANA was invaluable and I had to be persistant. ICC kept telling me there was nothing available.

Access rules are a lot more complicated than that, but unfortunately it is correct that ohbahsan can't use the FCT based on his/her described itinerary

I was under the impression that a LX flight connecting to LX F gets access to FCT. At least I hope so, I spent a few hours perusing that huge FCT thread and specifically re-routed from VIE back to FRA so I could try the FCT. I guess we'll see in a few days.

IAD-FRA-JNB-CPT and back.

I got two F *awards on LH all the way from IAD to JNB and then business on SA from JNB to CPT (Business is all they offer on that route) for Feburary the 24th coming back on March the 11th. Using United points.

160,000 points for each ticket and about $100 dollars in taxes.

I've done this three years in a row but it's getting much harder to find the F awards

Sorry, you are right . I was looking at your outbound rather than your return. I agree that you should have access when coming back ^ .
