*G and E+
Sorry for the basic question, realise that this must have been covered hundreds of times before. Tried searching but failed due to short search terms.
I'm flying UA from LAX to ORD in Y. Am SAS EBG, i.e. *G. Read somewhere that elite members by default get an upgrade to E+ from economy, is that correct also for non-UA *G members? Do I have to do anything to make this happen, right now I'm seated in 30D.
Thanks,
D

I did a search on "Alliance AND economy AND access" and found the following thead, which I think answers your questions.
