DCA-ORD-DCA F Class Meal Service Gone?
Looked on the .BOMB today and it showed no F Class meal service between DCA-ORD during meal times. I haven't flown it recently but I know it wasn't that long ago that meals were being served?
Any experiences?

United.com error that has been discussed many, many times.
Business1 flights serve meals in F during meal times, MSP excluded.

If only that were true. There always seems to be a traffic jam heading into or out of ORD, so even when the flight time is 70ish minutes, the gate-to-gate time comes in at 100 minutes or more. Sadly, the way it seems to work for me is that gate-to-gate time is longest when the flight is outside meal times.

IME, you should expect a meal during the meal windows. The timetable never shows a meal, but My Itineraries will.

I recently talked to the 1K desk about this and was told that there is a new policy on meals. She read it to me, and basically it says only select flights between DCA and ORD have it now, regardless of time. She checked the computer and there were no meals for most of the flights, so it is not just a .bomb error.

The ITA software also doesn't show meals though and it usually shows. For example, my ORD-SNA 7:45 flight shows NO MEAL on da bomb but snack on ITA. I wonder if they really took out meals for this particular route.

The best trick I have found is to do an ITA search for F and find the US codeshare on UA metal. Somehow, that displays meal information correctly.
For example, F ORD-LGA (UA 678)*:
united.com
Fare basis code:
QUAUP
Booking class: A
First
733 Award miles
No Meal Service
UA ITA
United Airlines Flight UA678 on an Airbus A320 (jet) in first class
Departs Chicago, IL (ORD) Fri, Aug 3 11:05a 2 hrs 13 min
Arrives New York, NY (LGA) 2:18p
US UA Codeshare ITA
US Airways Flight US6756 on an Airbus A320 (jet) in first class
(operated by United Airlines as Flight UA678)
(lunch)
Departs Chicago, IL (ORD) Fri, Aug 3 11:05a 2 hrs 13 min
Arrives New York, NY (LGA) 2:18p
* The "trick" does not work for ORD-DCA because there is no UA/US codeshare on the route.

(snack, movie)
Departs Chicago, IL (ORD) Sat, Sept 15 7:45p 4 hrs 8 min
Arrives Santa Ana, CA (SNA) 9:53p
A snack will be served.

I have checked ual.com for meals via the award ticket functionality. There are no meals shown on any flight between DCA-ORD-DCA. If it is indeed the case that Snack is not shown on any flight on UAL.com than the award ticket search is useless.
USAirways does codeshare the DCA-ORD with UA as the first segment of DCA-ORD-MKE so we should be able to seal if a snack is being served by looking at it that way.
UPDATE:
OK. I am looking at the ITA flight search and priced it as a US F Class ticket on flights operated ny IA, DCA-ORD-MKE and for the 12:40 flight listed as lunch--not a SNACK.
ANYBODY WHO HAD FLOWN THIS ROUTE CARE TO WEIGH IN? UA is driving me NUTS!!
Washington, DC to Milwaukee, WI: 676 miles 6 hrs 6 min
US Airways Flight US6281 on a Boeing 737 (jet) in first class
(operated by United Airlines as Flight UA617)
(lunch)
Departs Washington, DC (DCA) Tue, July 17 12:40p 2 hrs 4 min
Arrives Chicago, IL (ORD) 1:44p
Layover in Chicago 3 hrs 16 min
US Airways Flight US7334 on a Canadair Reg. Jet (jet) in coach class
(operated by UNITED EXPRESS/SKYWEST, also United Airlines Flight UA5829)
Departs Chicago, IL (ORD) Tue, July 17 5:00p 46 min
Arrives Milwaukee, WI (MKE) 5:46p

I took the last flight ORD-SNA last night, no meal, just what they call a snack, a couple of pieces of stale cheese and some slices of fruit well past their expiration date.
