:math:

That would be 1.0%. 0.01% would be ~6000 pax. And yeah, I doubt 6000 pax carried the rules. Maybe 60, or 0.0001%.

Wrong math... 0.01% would be 6,680

Are the RCC dragons union? If so, I think it would be really hard for UA to fire her over that. Which is sad.

As a side note, almost every UA employee I have dealt with at IAD has been pitiful.

That's the bad part, I believe she is. That's why you always ask for a Supervisor and not a Service Director when you have an issue. I believe Sups are not unionized while SD's are, so SD's always defend the employees.

Agree. That will help re-inforce the Supe lecture. lucky, consider posting (a draft of) your letter here?

Correct. Never bother with SD.

What's in lucky's mind right now must be those $250 Customer Relation vouchers for his next TPA-IAD-JFK-SFO-LAX-PDX-ORD-IAD-TPA mileage run.

I think I need to print those rules. Have them saved on my computer but that's probably not good enough. Do you also happen to have the CoC printed? Probably Rule 240...

While I'll admit my mistake with my math, my point still stands.

While service directors are also union, many of them are quite helpful, and they often know the rules better than the supervisors do.

If that's the traveling pattern, UA may write a letter back telling him where to go.

Just a related question:

If I am traveling int'l with a non-status companion in Y with same day BPs, how many drink chits shall we receive at the gateway airport RCC?

Two or four...
