Consolidated "Arrival/Departure Lounge Options at EZE" Thread [Merged]

Have done a few searches regarding lounges at EZE and appears for *A only have the RCC upon departure. Are there any available arrival (shower) facilities or other *A lounges I may be missing?

You are correct, only RCC. No showers, and no other *A lunges. The RCC is small but above average as fas as RCCs go.

I was able to pick up free wireless internet signal last two times I was there.

The EZE RCC also stocks a fairly decent selection of free booze, which beats a shower any day in my book...

Another benefit of the EZE RCC is that it is seldom very crowded. Lounge attendents are friendly and attentive. I can't speak to the wifi issue, but if you can pick it up, all the better!!! One of the better RCC's in the system.

did anything good happen to the EZE RCC over summer?

according to this page at ual.com, there was supposed to be a fixup of the EZE lounge a month ago. Does anyone know if it's greatly improved, or is just sort of the same as before?

Wasn't keeping an eye out, but it looked the same to me last week from the year before.

The EZE RCC always seemed OK to me.

And the lounge attendants take refilling the cooler with Quilmes beer seriously, too. :)

Used it for the first time last week. I didn't notice anything extraordinary.
Then again.. its RCC... what do you expect?

The receptionist has a new lipstick color^

The paint smelled fresh 3 weeks ago.

The late-afternoon attendant had quite the attitude while handling irrops - but I don't know if that's new.

RCC in EZE

Hi all! How is the RCC in EZE? Is there hot food? Are there showers? (I'm guessing no on the showers, but since all EZE flights are now redeyes, I have to ask.)

Standard Stuff

I was there a couple of months ago. Mostly the standard RCC stuff. Self serve drinks with pretzels, peanuts, cheeses, etc. While I may have missed it, no showers were visible to me. Just a crowded room with lots of people waiting for the redeye; furtunately my flight was the new cofiguration.

I haven't been there in ~10 years (but am going back this summer...), so my info is a bit dated, no doubt.

I remember it being a standard int'l RCC... no showers (nor arrivals), but there was an open bar, and one could bring in just one guest). Back in the day, it was like an IFL-"lite", and we would sometimes get escorted by the matrons to the gate.

Not much food beyond snacks, IIRC, but certainly a quiet spot. Much nicer than the AMEX club...

Hopefully others will have more current info, which I am also keen to hear.

There are chips, nuts, and olives, cheese and crackers, and some stale cake at times, maybe a few other delights. Self-pour bar with drinkable Argentinovino (probably US$2 a bottle in the market down there). No showers, and it can get very crowded. I often like to head over there when flying out in the late afternoon / early evening (on LAN) because the AA lounge gets crowded, and boring, too (and has similar snack selection) and I can get in with my Priority Pass to the RCC and be the only one in the place.

If you sit on the cheese, it is the closest to hot food you will have. For better or worse, this is about as good as it gets at EZE for lounges.
