And I thought I was the only one who did this :D

There's also free WiFi. The lounge is also shared by AC and LH, so if can get so crowded there's no place to sit.

Okay, thanks for the info everyone! I figured the showers like at NRT would be too good to be true, but had to ask.

Then I think that any and all SQ *Gs (flying AC or LH) should be banned from entering the RCC when >50% of the seats are occupied. Heaven knows that's what SQ does to UA *Gs when the SKLs are crowded.

I will be going through EZE in a few weeks. Do they have "decent" wine and bubbly as well as mixed drinks?

So, the RCC is the only *G lounge available in EZE? What about TP, which lounge does it use?

LAX

TP doesn't fly to EZE, AFAIK

If the RCC is the only only game in town for *A (and gets real busy), does anyone know if the Admirals Club is near the RCC to access?

Yes it is, and it gets equally (if not more) crowded.

A friend recommended getting to EZE well ahead of time as the airport was busy later in the day with many overseas flights all leaving out around the same time. I'm on UA846 EZE-IAD so anyone have any input as to how early I should go?

I see this lounge also open to Priority Pass members so if I am there very early at least I can try and find a spot in the RCC as I'm a black PP cardholder.

I go thru there a couple of times a month. Don't get there too early expecting the club to be open, I think it opens sometime in the sfternoon, like 4pm or 6pm. I always arrive later so I am not sure. It is always crowded and hard to find a seat all the flights go out at around the same time so there is no quiet period in there. They sometimes have small (real Small) sandwiches, but mostly crackers and cheese etc. The toilets get a little overwhelmed by the sudden influx of everyone and so does the food / drinks areas. But the front desk staff are excellent. They are friendly and remember you if you are there often enough.

1. Aren't all PPs black?

2. I must confess that initially I felt guilty about starting a whole new thread just on the EZE RCC, but I couldn't find the answers in any other thread...so I'm glad to see that it turns out that other people had questions about this specific RCC too!

There is also another PP lounge - it is horrid (not airline-affiliated) but open all day if you get there before the RCC opens (currently at 16:15).

If you are in a non-premium cabin, you should be there 3 hours early.

I was in EZE a couple months ago and found the airport to be ridiculously crowded with all the red-eye departures. Flying in a premium cabin didn't help all that much, as the major hangup was the absurdly long line for security. Remember to proactively pay your prerequisite departure tax before you head for the security line, and if you plan to get a tax return for a shopping spree, there is a specific, potentially timely, process to follow (my companion got help up on that one and almost missed his flight).

On a related note, the secure international departure area that houses the UA gate(s?) is the most disorienting and shameless display of a duty-free maze I've ever been forced through. Also, the arrival immigration sequence at EZE was way understaffed and poorly managed IMO.

RCC was rather small, but not overcrowded in my case. No surprises or letdowns.

Mine is very, very black. :p Yes, I believe all are. I threw that in there in case there was a single person who perhaps didn't know what I was talking about.

Eek! How many hours ahead should I show up if flying C?
And, how to proactively pay the departure tax before security?
