Anything Extra for using MP Visa
Hi-
Quick Question. Do you get anything extra for using a MP Visa to purchase a United flight. I am not flying but just buying the ticket and want to know if I should use my MP Visa. Thanks.

I think I never got double miles. Who do you call, Chase or United to address this issue?

You can use the contact customer service tool in you Chase Online Account. If there are any errors, they will reqest more credit toward your account. Just to double check though, you don't have the student one right? That one does not give 2 miles per dollar on anything.

It's the regular visa signature and I have not seen anywhere anything about double miles, althought it would sound logical to me to reward using the MP visa for flight reservations. Else I would just use my starwood amex and get the 20k bonus at least.

I stand corrected. I was blending Gold and Regular into one category. My mistake. Gold is 2x, regular is not.
This link should clear up the mi w/ united.com issue (but don't necessarily trust other things like initial bonus miles for anyone searching this, there are better offers previously posted)

Thanks for the link. I called earlier and got the same answer. Now, if I already have the regular one but sign up for gold and/or platinum do I again qualify for the initial bonus miles or do they treat it as same product in that respect?
