Upgrade question
I have a regional upgrade that expires Jan 2007, and I have a flight on Feb 9th 2007.
When I called the UA desk, they upgraded me using this e-upgrade. My question is will this stay or will it go away with the expiration of the coupon at the end of January???

Unfortunately, the CR1 will expire, and you will have nothing to upgrade with. I am surprised that the agent let you do that. I would do a change quick, because it won't work.

Well, that's not nice of them. Is there anyway to get the CR1 extended, it's actually for my wife to be upgraded?
Is there anyone who can help with this dilemma, I would really appreciate the help.

You can always use 15,000 miles for the upgrade. Not the answer you want to hear, I'm sure.

Why don't you try and trade CR-1s with a friendly FTer on CC. If they are using a Feb CR-1 to upgrade this month, they should be willing to trade to help you out.

Call United and speak to a human. Last year I had the same problem with an upgrade and they allowed me to extend the expiration date on one upgrade. Since you already have the ticket for the upgrade, they should let you. If the first person you talk to doesn't, call back later and try someone else.

The implication being that the workers at the ICC are not human?
