schedule changes are out of control

I agree-- why can't they just email me? I hate the call when it says "here is a schedule change" and then it starts rattling off all the new times and I have to scramble to write it down (though I suppose I could just check my itin).
Maybe there could be a setting where it's like "don't call me unless it's a change of more than 30 minutes (or a cancellation, flight number change, etc.)."
