Cannot View Itenerary
I booked a flight in United.com on a United flight. I have a united confirmation #, but I linked the flight with my USAirways #.
Is there any way to simply view my itenerary online with the confirmation #. It seems United.com will only allow you to view iteneraries that were booked with the United Mileage #.
If there is a way, I'd appreciate any help that can be provided.

You can go to USAir.com and see the itinerary. If you want to see it at UA's site, you'll need to replace your US number with your UA MP number.

How can I view my reservations?
Click on My Itineraries from the Book travel box on the homepage to access your reservation. You will need to log in with your Mileage Plus number and united.com password. Your reservation must have your Mileage Plus number on it and be on a United, Ted, United Express or code share flight operated by United. The reservation can be booked through any channel united.com, United Reservations, or even other web sites and as long as your Mileage Plus number is included in the reservation, you can view it on united.com.

Its not possible to look up a United airways reservation that was booked on United on US Airways.com.
So basically you cannot just view an itenerary that was purchased on United on United.com unless you provided them a UA Mileage number at the time of purchase? That seems rather protective of the UA program, after all I did purchase a UA flight on UA.com.
I guess this is why I usually fly skyteam.

Nope, it's all driven by the FF number
