Systemwidw upgrades
Hi all I am thinking to register for the double EQM promo for $499 to get to 1K with one flight to BKK. I currently have 58K EQM for 2006. I want to do this because I beleive we get 6 SWU. Can I use these with any fare or are they restricted to only some fare types? Thanks for the help in advance.

For travel across regions, (i.e. - N.America to Europe/Asia/S. America) they are valid on all fares types EXCEPT: S, K, L, T. Note that some of these fare types are generally used for E-fares.

but why not put the $499 towards a 2nd BKK ticket instead

Thanks for the info. Due to other trips (an F award to India in Dec) I will be able to make only one trip. The way I look at it is about 20K actual miles RT X2 will put me over the 100K mark. Now if I can get some days off work.
