Multiple Booking Code Question
Does anyone know if it's possible to book a ticket with multiple booking codes?
I.E. Book a QUP (A) fare on the outbound, then a refundable (Q) code on the return. I know you can't do it on .bomb, but was wondering if an agent could do it on the phone. Anyone ever done this? Is it even possible? Thanks!

Thanks. I'll check the fare rules before I call. Just didn't want to sound like an idiot when I call if it wasn't possible. Of course one agent will tell you know, and then when you get a good one, they will make it happen.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Update...it worked. Had to do it with CSR, but just booked:
DEN-SFO (Q) Refundable
SFO-LAX-MCO Quap-(A) first
MCO-DEN (E) Refundable
all on same itinerary. It took her some time, but she pulled it off.
All fare rules allowed combinable fares. But the whole itinerary is subject to the most restrictive fare. (In this case not a problem with the bookend refundable/changeable fares) But if you did book a non-refundable on one leg, the whole itinerary, including the (A) fare, becomes non-refundable.
Thanks for the tip! Saved me from booking 3 one ways on .bomb

Ten years ago, it was easy to do this on line (via easysabre). Then with United Connection.
