Elite qualification without flying
I did a few searched but couldn't find an updated thread.
What are the current ways to get elite qualification (miles / segments) without flying?

There's no way to acquire enough EQMs for elite status without flying. But UA is still offering the advance travel credit cards, right? Those come with 2P, 1P or 1K status, depending on the amount of credits purchased. (I believe 1K is $20k worth of credits)

1. Do these also give EQS?
2. What's the max you can earn in a year with these?
By the way, I do fly, and am premier exec right now. But I want to make it to 1K and I'll be coming up short this year on flying alone.

- They are EQM only.
- MP Visa - 15,000 per card (5,000 signup, 5,000 united.com purchases, 5,000 for $35K spend)
Elite choice - 7,500 max I believe (2,500 + 5,000) as a "carryover" to next year (for 1Ks - only 2,500 max for 1Ps)
Choices - 5,000 per year
