I hope this provides more of an advantage than the elite check-in lines have. In my experience, the premier and 1K ticket lines at Dulles are often just as long as the lines for general members and they sometimes seem to move even slower (I'm assuiming as a result of more complicated itineraries, upgrades to process, etc.).

Regarding the statement
I would hope that the elite-line "guards" will be rationale about this and not make us dig for our card when our status is clearly shown on our boarding passes (which we need to have out anyway).

I fly out of CHO a lot and it's not uncommon for them to take 3-5 minutes for my security screening. Of course, since I'm also the only person in line, my total screening time is: 3-5 minutes.
Just one more reason that I still consider CHO to be the most convenient remote parking lot for IAD.
