When do e500s actually clear (relative to your window)?

In my experience, e500-sponsored upgrades clear (or waitlist) about 1 hour prior to my window (which is now 100 hrs, but has been 72 hrs and 48 hrs in the past).

For the first time I am now at 99 hrs prior and the upgrade is still 'pending'. It will clear since F is wide-open, but wonder why the computer is late this time.

I guess since the upgrades cleared an hour early so many times in the past, I probably owe them 10 hrs or so?!

Oz please let us know the outcome. Lately my upgrades have been "pending" on most of my flights, even those showing F9 on 757s and F7 on A319s! It seems that UA is holding seats for revenue for a longer period, and is selling more QUAUP and YUAUP seats in the days and hours prior to departure rather than upgrading folks. I can't blame them for trying to maximize revenue, but it does make the upgrade game a bit more stressful.

My BOS to DEN next week cleared at 101 hours and 2 minutes, I'm hoping for another email 101 hours before the return......

It cleared a few mins after I posted above. So about 99 hrs in advance. Then, the next flight posted 2 min later (so back to 101 hrs). And so on...
