strange M+ award booking problem
Hi,
i made an award request on Aloha Airlines (AQ) calling the M+ desk at India last week. They asked me to call again 12 hours later to check if AQ confirmed the seats. When i called them again they told me that they confirmed my outbound flight from Kona via Honolulu to Maui. The inbound flight was rejected. So i made two additional requests. When i called them later again, they told me that both inbound flights are confirmed. I took one of them and they issued the e-ticket on a UA stock with AQ-flight numbers. My credit card was also charged with taxes and fees.
Yesterday i called AQ to check the reservation. I found out that AQ confirmed the outbound flights only. The inbound flights are still unconfirmed and won t clear. AQ asked me to call UA.
When i called UA again, they told me everything is fine. After all they found out that AQ never confirmed the inbound flights. They are now trying to get confirmed seats for the inbound flights. But the chances are bad.
Any ideas regarding that mess? I think i could insist on transportation because of the confirmed booking, right?
