E-Upgrades Expiration

Tried a quick search, but didn't find and answers.

I have 2 500 miler's scheduled to expire 03/06. I assume that on April 1st, the miles from these e-upgrades will be deposited to my MP account?

Thanks.

Yes. I understand that you can also call up early and ask them to be cancelled and coverted to miles if you need the miles before then.

Whenever you want. You can call now and turn 03/07 ones into 500 miles if you want.

Has anyone ever had any luck getting them extended? I have quite a few that expire at the end of one month, with a lot of travel booked for the first day of the following month.

Last month I had 17 expire. My record is 21 which expired in one month. I also had 2 Regionals expire last month too. I called and asked (just to see what they would say) and was denied.

You get nothing for the regionals when they expire, so you might as well use them, or transfer them to someone who can.

You can trasnfer them online (sort of, the website sucks) without authorising it, but if you do it over the phone you will have to go to the airport and sign a "bluey". These are authorisation forms to say that you have not sold it etc. The exception is that if you transfer it to someone with the same last name as you.
