Upgrading Booking Class
Hi All,
I booked a flight a T and W booking class, and I was wondering if I would be able to call up UA and "upgrade" the booking class fare to qualify for the UAL Great Offer. Or, would I need to pay their $100 change fee?
The fine print requires that I book in F,A,P,C,D,Y,B,E,M,U,H,Q,V booking classes.
Thanks in advance!

If it is an international ticket, probably. Domestic, probably not.
If you booked it < 24 hours ago on united.com you can cancel without penalty. To get V or higher, you will probably need to call UA to book it, or get a travel agent to book for you. united.com is useles in this regard.
