How long has it been that you cannot redeem awards with Delta in Mileage Plus?

Seems like it was in '03 at some point, about the same time that NW and CO joined up with SkyTeam, and shortly thereafter US and UA began limited codesharing / mileage earning agreements (this was prior to US entering *A)
