Would United honor an Aloha cert.?

I have a cert. from Aloha offering two first class seats for the price of one full fare coach (e.g., OAK-OGG is about $1,200). A great deal, but I need four seats for my family.

Is there any way I can get United to match this deal? If so, I'd buy two more coach seats and upgrade them with miles.

I'd appreciate any ideas or experiences you have for this situation.

Not yet. I want to see how others may have approached it.

Why would UA sell First Class for $600 RT on a premium and long flight is my question.

Asking us will not get you the seats.

They either will or they will not, and asking THEM is the only way to find out surely?

Yes, indeed, ozstamps. Asking United will surely be a critical part of this whole process. Now, kindly allow me to see if anyone has experience with this so that I might benefit from it when I ask United.

Hawaiian Airlines fly to SYD for about the UA price.

Does anyone know if UA will match them?
