I was on the afternoon flight from ORD-LAX yesterday (not on UA, but on AA) and was seated in first. I was chatting with the FA and she asked if I was going to LA for biz or pleasure. I mentioned that this was definitly a pleasure trip. Well just before landing she hands me a bag with THREE bottles of wine. Granted it wasn't really "good" stuff but I was shocked that she handed over three! I have no status whatsoever on AA!

If it is on AA, why do you post this thread on UA ?
THey are all talking about how great about the FA on UA, not AA.

Last' Sunday I was on SJO-IAD, and fell asleep. When I woke up, there was a card on my tray. It was a business card from the Captain, with his email and apparently his home address!
On the back he had written, "Mr. Dboy, seat 9F, thanks for your business. We appreciate . . . ". I thought it was pretty cool. The FA said he did it for all PremEx's and 1K's.

She said that the Captain must not know what "Global Services" is and didn't have one for me. Glad that they keep the employees informed.
