BrisbanePE sent me a PM and eventually my wording wasn't clear enough.

Previously ALL international travellers would get two drink chits at the gateway.

Currently only TRANSOCEANIC travellers will get them at the gateway, thus Mexico, Canada and Central America are not eligible to receive them even though still welcome to all the RCCs in the itin: "Two drink chits will be provided at gateway to transoceanic travelers only".

If anyone can provide the current full wording of the profile it'd be appreciated. Thanks.

Ok, so, by my number of posts, you can all tell that I am really new to the forums... And, I'll let you know that, while I am not new to flying, I just made it to Premier status, so I am just figuring out all of the "insider" tricks to frequent traveling...

How does one use the Profiles? Some of them seem very straight-forward and some of them are really not - if I'm traveling domestic (DEN-BWI/BWI-DEN) every week on business, is there anything I can use? At 6'2", I know I'm not the tallest passenger, but it's still not a comfortable 3.5 hour flight especially with the number of weather delays out of both cities, so any way I can bilk the system for a little more leg room or better treatment is appreciated!

Does anyone have the profile that covers meals and hotels for 1Ks (and others?) in case of weather delays?

Jcasner, United personnel are supposed to know all of this information, but obviously it's very detailed. They have access to all of these profiles and rules if they need to look things up, but often don't know where to look. If you come prepared with the profile name (or a printout), you help ensure that you'll receive the benefits to which you are entitled.

Which rule applies?

I have a 2 1/2 connection in SYD between UA and a non *A carrier. If UA is late into SYD and I miss my connection, what rule do I use? I am 1K.

Not sure why this is in this particular thread, but are your flights on a single PNR or did you buy two tickets?

If single PNR, UA should help you. If two tickets, UA or the other carrier could be nice, but you are essentially on your own.
