The newish items are the SWU & Conf Reg.
1. Now seems that the 500 miles ug's come and go at a reasonable rate.

2. The Conf Regg U/G's take a while to post after doing the 10,000 mile per quater thingo! Are they offered for use prior to posting, NO and even though they are earned you may have trouble using them.

3.Now, as to the use of SWU and CONF Regionals seems they are to be deducted upon reservation, as is the case with mileage upgrades, but I am confused. (I don't think so.) I was monentarily denied upgrade that was pre approved and seats selected at the time of ticketing while I have Con Reg pending but that lasted untill I was able to ruin a Stupidvisors day expalining how UA was dumb (short venture) and the deal was cool. Now seems that they will take the SWU/Con Reg at the airport during check insnki.

3.Let me tell you about my latest little journey down milage plus lane. SWU/ConfReg were new to the system and I have to had have a 4 person meeting to decide how to clear my C class INtl UpBoot. Same Same as they say at the AeroPuerto of returno sans the meeting of the mindless. Has anyone have a similar trip using the NEW ****TEM that is to make things better for those who pay for 100,000 miles on United. I hear of a person on another board that actually has not had deductions for 2 INt'l trips in April of 2004, should have ponied up a total of 4 SWU's but seems good ole United outsmarted itself again! What say you all???
