Waitlisted for wrong flight

Waitlisted for wrong flight
I've been posting in here a lot about this flight lately and I know it's annoying but I've got another question. I'm on a MR from Feb 18-19 to SFO. I requested an upgrade with my miles a while back and I just noticed that I'm waitlisted for NF for the wrong flight! I fly UAL846 on Feb 18th and the upgrade waitlist is for UAL846 on Feb 19 (the day I return). Anything I can do about this online or should I just call? Thanks

Waitlisting can only be handled with an agent, you will have to call or handle at an airport -- will not take much time.

This is going to sound really really dumb 
but I'm confused on what you meant. Did you mean it will be fine or I should call them or fix at the airport?
