SFO-LIH UDU's?
Just want to make sure there are UDU's on this route.
Looks like a 757 in February.
Any idea how difficult to get UDU for a 1K and companion (on same pnr)
on an S or T fare?

It varies quite a bit, usually quite easy but there are lots of 1K's based at SFO, LAX to LIH is much easier. If there is upgrade space available its a reasonable use of CR1's IMO.

As 1P, I've always gotten UDU on this route; but I travel midweek.

udustats.com is generally a good source for this kind of info.
In this particular case there isn't a lot of data (9 entries for SFO-LIH, 6 for LIH-SFO), but the clearance rate is 100%, including lower level elites and companions in several cases.

I flew LAX-LIH in May, on a Friday (1pm), and got the UDU at 104 hours.. In my last five trips to Hawaii, I've always gotten UDU, except for the flights that I used a CR-1 (i.e. red-eye back from HNL/OGG).

Flew SFO-LIH-LAX in October, got my upgrade over 24 hrs in advance both times as a 1P.
This route seems pretty easy for a 1K but the companion can always throw a wrench in things if they release seats in small batches.
