Repainting Progress?
I was coming home through DCA last night and saw one plane that had been repainted in the new livery -- except for the nose, which was still a rainbow of variously-hued blue stripes. (I believe it was N458UA, but my memory may be wrong -- I took a quick photo with my BB, but it's not very good and I'm not sure how to post it here anyway.)
Anyone else seen this? Any reason why the nose wouldn't be repainted?

They swap parts out between the fleet and with three* different liveries out there, there are going to be the odd "clown nosed" aircraft out there.
I think it looks pretty Mickey Mouse and hope they can get onto a single livery as quickly as possible.
* Old battleship grey, existing blue tulip, new merged CO/UA plus one special livery A320 in the Friendship scheme.

There is of course the Star Alliance livery as well... so technically 5 possible liveries. There may even be some Ted-cones still out there as well, but I'd be surprised.

I got a picture of a new livery A320 with the old blue nose at DEN last week. I would post the picture but i'm not sure how.
Edit: looking at the picture again I believe it is N458UA as previously mentioned
