Here in Honolulu, the tsunami is expected to hit at 2:59 am. They report ILO is closed but HNL still operating. I have a great 41st floor view of HNL reef runway and can see planes still taking off, but haven't seen any land in a while.

Now the AF people are brInging a bunch of air stairs to the parking lot of pax jets. Probably not going to let us off, but maybe bring supplies? So far doors are still shut.
Seeing three AF tanker trucks driving in our general direction. Captain has no real update yet as to when we will get out of here. NRT supposedly still closed.
AF has boarded UA 837 and the AA jet.

I am watching it on CNN how the tsunami hit the Sendai area. Tsunami warnings were issued to more than 10 countries.

I guess many flights today (3/11) from US to NRT/HND will be cancelled due to plane stuck in Japan or too late to turn back to the US. And I am flying 875 SEA-NRT on saturday (3/12), looks like it is going to have a major VDB opportunity.

Couple pictures of various commercial jets landing at Yokota:

Seems like at least a UA 747 and a CO 777. Might be able to get some tail numbers from the high res images.
