Both my SWU's and CR-1's for MM status appeared a short time ago.

Posting of Quarter 1 2011 CR-1's?
I had over 10,000 BIS miles by January 15th. Does anyone know when the 2 CR-1's begin to post for quarter 1 of 2011?

A scenario
A 1K flies 50K CO miles (crediting to CO) in Q1, and 12.5K UA miles (crediting to UA) in Q1/2/3/4 each (so 100K total miles on the year).
We know that (for this year only) 1Ks will get those 2 CR-1s each quarter. However, when would they get the 2 CR-1s at 75K and 100K? Guessing not til the miles are combined at the end of the year, right?

Why not just credit to UA from the beginning? Being a CO *G isn't going to get you anything the an 1K would not get already.

My understanding is that UA and CO EQM will be combined at the end of the year to determine 2012 status and nothing else. If they tried to do anything retroactive it would open up all kinds of hassles, like someone with 40k with each airline claiming they should have gotten 1P/gold elite RDM bonuses and such.

This might be expecting too much for the system to combine the EQMs and look back to determine the need to credit for the CR1s (else both the 75K and 100K thresholds).

I'll still probably get over 100K in my UA account - but ultimately those CO miles will get me 2 more CR-1s once they combine.
I'm assuming they'll figure it out in time. If somebody had 50K in each program this year, they're deserving of SWUs once they combine, right? CR-1s should be the same.

Because I have a 20K mile paid C NH trip coming up in a few weeks - need to credit to CO to get the extra 10K EQM bonus. My example was an extreme exaggeration, but I was curious.

Prior to the flight, I wrote 1KVoice and asked them if I would get the 100K CR-1s when the programs combine at year's end. I got a very non-committal response, the jist of which was "we haven't figured that one out yet."
It seems to me if they are going to combine CO & UA accounts on 12/31/11, and the 100K CR-1s are based on EQM's in accounts on or before 12/31/11, we should get them as long as our post-merger accounts have 100K EQM. It's probably a good idea for those of us in this situation to ocassionaly pester UA about this.
