I normally fold my blanket nicely with the pillow so it is suitable for immediate reuse. With these new ones, I made a little pile then hoped the trash collector would remove it. They are dreadful.

I'll echo my disappointment with the CO-blankets. Truly cheap feeling, especially for a 6'1" person like myself.

Is someone going to make a "clean, safe, and reliable" joke now that "most professional men and women in the industry" is tapped out?

What can you expect of an ex-Federal Govt lawyer with no airline experience.

He was dragging CO towards (another) Chapter 11, and may well do the same for the new CO (aka "United").

I would normally not say anything about such a small 'enhancement', but these new blankets are TERRIBLE. I had them on a redeye in F recently, and not only are they thin, small, and not very warm, but they left fuzzy blue residue all over my khakis!

Pretty absurd IMHO.

Perhaps it's time to write into the various UA elite desks? We saw what happened when people wrote in about the CR-1s for next year. Maybe we can get rid of this enhancement while it's still early.

You can - just get on a p.s. flight. Unless those have been cross-blanketed as well.

I hope p.s. stays the same! Last time I was on-board in row 9, it was pretty cold. These new blankets would not keep a person warm.

+1

Last time I was on p.s. they still have the white, soft, and warm blankets. And they were great at deflecting the Row 9 "breeze".

I think if people encounter the cross-blanketing, they should make their voices heard through ualsurvey.com

Had a mix of them yesterday IAD-SFO. New ones are like paper.

Good white blankets yesterday JFK-LAX and SFO-JFK, as well as today JFK-LAX.

Got the new and crappy "CO body coolers" (holey blue string blankies) on LAX-SFO.
