Can we combine multiple CS-25s towards the purchase of a UA ticket?

Nope, and somewhere on the back it will say one discount per certificate.

No, they are not combinable.

However, you can do what I did last year. I has two cs-50s and broke up my trip into two trips and used both certificates.
ie...
instead of CLT-HNL r/t, I did...
Clt-Ord-Lax-ord-clt and lax-hnl-lax

Sometimes pricing a ticket as two one-ways is no more expensive than a roundtrip and you can use the CS25s on each one-way.

You can't combine two of the same type of discount, but travel discounts can be combined with travel credits.

And for the distinction between type a and type b vouchers (for the purpose of combining different types) see:

Darn. I'm messed up then.

Anyone has luck getting UA to trade those for other certificates/vouchers?

It must be my lucky day. I called CS and they agreed to take some of my CS-25s in exchange for some $100 certificates.

One thing I learned from FTers, never hurts to ask and trade on the goodwill of my 1K status.

Now for the other CS-25s...
