I'm flying NF to EZE tomorrow and will be checking my luggage, which I rarely do. Question is do they prioritize bags of International First passengers? Last time I flew NF to GRU, I was one of the last passengers to pick up my bag. What's the point of putting *A or F tags if the bags are not prioritize. Any inside info on this?
It varies wildly from station to station, of course, but I've generally had very good luck with international F bag delivery priority, far better than int'l C or domestic F. At many stations (e.g., SYD comes to mind) there is a CSR who is specifically tasked with finding and removing F bags from the belt and placing them all in one centralized position on the floor, with the goal of getting them there before you. GOod luck!
Yes, it should make a difference. I've flowen SFO-IAD-EZE 4 times in F in the last few months and my bags always come off quickly in EZE (with F priority tags).
Baggage handling in EZE is very fast and efficient (and the baggage claim area is close to the gate where you will deplane).
I've often made it off the aircraft and through immigration in under 10 minutes, and never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my bags. You will have to have all you bags X-rayed at customs before you can leave the secure area.
