E+ blankets - Intl??

Flying to BKK and don't need to bring a sweater there. So with the disappearance of blankets from planes domestically have they totally disappeared internationally as well? We're hoping our upgs clear so may be in E+ or C.

Both my TATL flights last month had blankets / pillows / and a small amenity kit flying on 777 in E+.

IAD-MUC / FRA-IAD.

Also most of E+ was empty, so lots of room to stretch out!

Since when did UA give amenity kits in E+ intl?

OTOH, I would like to see the return of pillows and blankets on at least the red eye transcons.

I had blankets on ORD-HKG, HKG-SIN, SIN-NRT, and NRT-IAD in Y+ during November. You should be covered

The kits were the old leftovers when UA was switching from the old kits to the new kits.

I had pillows and blankets on the redeye transcons on a couple of flights back in Dec: SFO-IAD and SEA-IAD.

regards,
drew

I hadn't flown INTL on UA in many months, so I have no idea of any info behind the amenity kits...in fact, I didn't even open them, so I couldn't tell you what they contained!

Thanks. All is not lost, I suppose. SFO-NRT won't clear for C but at least we'll get blankets and a possible amenity kit....NRT-BKK has cleared so we'll get to try out the lie-flats for a few hours...

All fine and dandy until UA realizes AA is going to charge $8 for some warmth. They'll probably drop the cabin temp until they hit their sales quotas.

Although I can't find the reference now, I remember reading AA would continue to supply pillows and blankets for international coach.
