Quick lounge access question

I have mainly used my BD Gold to access lounges in the US up until end of last year, and never had to deal with the domestic *Gold issue before.

I am flying KWI-IAD-LGA-YYZ, all in Y, last segment on AC.

Will I (should I) have access to the RCC at IAD and LGA?

Canada is international itinerary, right?

Not familiar with LGA at all, is there an RCC or a CO PC near (in the same terminal)? that AC departs from?

Also, odds of an e500 upgrade on a Sunday morning (8:25am) IAD-LGA flight on an E70?

ICC? If you mean RCC, yes.

Yes.
But I thought when traveling to Canada, you didn't get drink chits nor could you use the IFLs. Isn't it that Canada is not international?

Correct to both. Flights to Canada count for RCC access but not for IFL usage or drink chits.

At LGA UA departs from the C gates and both CO and AC depart from the A gates but they are all in the central terminal. The RCC at LGA is one of the few that is actually located outside security so it'll be easy for you to use the RCC and then head to the A gate security checkpoint for your AC flight. I don't believe there is a PC at LGA.

There is a PC at LGA (also outside security).

Upgrade on E70 should not be a problem from LGA if you have UA status and have a e500 to spare. It is an easy upgrade.

I believe that the technical rule for drink chits in the RCC is for transoceanic trips. That is why the international destination of Canada doesn't count for drink chits.

YMMV depending on whether an RCC angel or dragon stands guard at the door. We fly USA-Canada regularly. When we're upgraded and have an F boarding pass in hand, we can usually collect 2 Drink Chits each and T-mobile cards.

Smile and ask nicely!
