ual.com reduced Flight status functionality ... argh!

What ......s. The ual.com flight status on the home page used to be really nice. Now they've moved the version where you can pick the date of departure to a second page.

Will the stupid changes never end?!

Actually, I think that it's better now. Want to see how badly things are behind in the LAX-DEN market? Type in the city codes and see ALL the flights, all at once. No typing of individual flight numbers. Easy! Yes, one extra step, but with the benefit of so much more info!

I also like the new flight status layout better.

More information faster is never a bad thing.

No reason why they couldn't have kept both.

The new way is much worse than it used to be when you know the flight number. Put in flight number (before midnight Chicago time) and it gives the right information. That's fine. Midnight in Chicago comes and you put flight number in and get tomorrow's information instead; have to go to "check status of another flight" link, put flight number in again, change default date, click "check" again.

This is all a great deal more work than it would have been if they had simply left the date pull-down on the main page where it used to be.
