You can double check all you want. I work for United and this was the company email I received. I thought info like this would be gladly received here, but I'm wondering if I am welcome on this board.

aflyboi22, you are warmly welcomed on FT. I think the other poster may not have realized the source of your info which was not clear on the initial post. I certainly appreciated the news.
I wonder if more international routes may be dropped?

Aflyboi22: Welcome to FT. We all look forward to you posting a long time and United being around for a long time. Agree with the suggestion re: posting from home for your own benefit.

It is odd that even the employee reservation line still lists the MIA-GIG & GIG-MIA flights later in March [when I am scheduled to fly]. Is it possible this is merely a change of aircraft?

I guess I'll post the minority reply...
We cannot read minds. You didn't write in your original post that you work for UA. Even if you did write that, we still may question it, as anyone can write a post saying "I work for UA and such-and-such is true."
That being said, I must say FlyerTalk is the best travel web site, not even close to second place. I hope you enjoy it here, and we greatly appreciate info from employees. Just a warning -- sometimes we can be a tough bunch but it's worth it!
Again, welcome to FlyerTalk!

Don't worry about some of the people here.. I don't. I have the Politcal Correctness Police scanning EVERY post I make looking for something offensive in it. I don't care. I have a ton of useful information and will continue to post it.
I learned early on to not worry about popularity points on FlyerTalk.. I'm probably in the negatives!! :-)
In regards to the disclaimer, don't do it. It will flag you @ WHQ as an employee posting information and then they'll closely watch what you post.
I don't post disclaimers that I work for Air Canada or Florida Coastal.. no need to as I just don't divulge confidential information regarding each carrier.
