Need help
I need a lot of expert help....
I'm going to Asia for vacation January 7 to 24 via YYZ-ORD(1009)-HKG(895)-SIN(805).
Right now, for the 7th, I'm upgrade cleared for 1009 and 805. There is practically 0 chance I'll get the upgrade for the 895 as it is sold out.
Can I,
1. check in early and standby for an earlier YYZ-ORD flight (1005)8.15am flight and request going standby on the ORD-SIN direct (wide open at C)(881)12.00pm flight rather than going on the 895 and connecting on the 805?
2. just check in for the YYZ-ORD portion and check in again at ORD, hoping that the 895 will be sold out in Y and I can volunteer to be bumped off to go on the 881 instead.
Any thoughts are welcomed.
