When are fall schedule cuts loaded?
Last autumn, basenji and others did a great job keeping us appraised of when schedule cuts were loaded, so we could reschedule existing reservations if necessary.
Does anyone know when the schedule cuts described here http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum50/HTML/013719.html will be loaded?
Thanks.

My understanding is that quite a bit of the new schedule has been loaded already, but the finalised schedule will prob. appear mid-September.

I have noticed while trying to book some segment-enhancing itins from STL to the Bay Area in November that some of the old favorites have disappeared. I've also, noticed, e.g., that there is no longer any way to get from SNA-OAK late afternoon on UA in the November schedules

I purchased thanksgiving week tickets about 2 weeks ago (during the last fare sale)and my early am flight from sfo to las has been cancelled and I even got the letter in the mail marked URGENT.
So I had to switch to LAX to make the Hubbie happy. So they are cutting allready but Iwas surprized that it occured for wed before turkey day.

I noticed today that starting this fall UA is introducing some RJ service between ORD-STL (my second home). = (
About half the flights will be served by mainline UA, the other half by ACA. (On the other hand, the number of flights each day is being increased from six to eight, so I guess it's a mixed bag.) And while I never fly DEN-STL and thus am not familiar with the schedule, I also noticed some RJ flights popping up there as well.

Yeah but the total number of seat avl. per day will be less, remember 2 RJ isn't even enough to hold a 737-500.

At least these 9% capacity cuts are only for the fall.
The schedule will be back to normal next year.
From DEN, I'm assuming the schedule will be back to normal at the end of November when the ski season starts which is a BIG revenue for United.
But the entire network should be back to the original spring schedule planned. I haven't heard anything about reducing the spring schedule.
