Are we sure 15 has the new seats? Have they had enough time to complete the trial on ship 13?

It's getting close, but later than planned due to the TSA directive / mods on the other a/c. Tail 133 may be ready in another week or so - will advise when firm info becomes available.

What new TSA directive? I guess they want to be able to turn the map off and leave everything else on

About 30 days from when it goes in. But since it was a ferry job back to EWR to go into service I haven't seen whether a bird is in the shop now or not. I don't see a 772 to HKG on the normal ferry numbers. Did not see a "missing" return flight from an EWR-HKG outbound either.

saw CO is running 777s to SDQ for a couple days this week. Interesting.

Some of the normal 777 European destinations have infamously light loads during the holidays; those aircraft run to destinations that have high holiday traffic into and out of the IAH metro...VFF traffic, I think it's called: visiting friends and family.

It makes sense that 15 is now with the new configuration as the the incoming flight arrived today from HKG with a flight # 3172. Its normally
98. Thats good news to say the least. Still praying for 99 on the 11th or 19th of Jan for Flt 99 and 98. Heck, with 2 of these flying now, maybe we can get it on both legs.:
