Flight Status issues in App?

Flight Status issues in App?
My son is taking a flight and because I booked it for him, I see his ITIN on the app. But when I click on the ITIN and try to check the flight status, the United App switches to the flight status selection page and locks up? It does this on the APP on my iPhone (16) and my iPad??? It grays out the screen and has a white banner on the bottom that says Please wait.., but it never goes?
I can X out and find the flight status, but I cant subscribe to updates?
