Lingering 2023 Status on Boarding Pass after 1 Feb 2024

I have unfortunately been downgraded from 1K to Platinum for 2024. However, when I checked in for today's flight this morning, it still shows 1K on my boarding pass.
Assume that will correct itself over time?

Tickets previously purchased will probably keep your old status until United runs a sweep or there is an equipment change.

Enjoy the last ride as 1K (join the pre boarding).

Yes. I had three flights on the same day last week (including two cross country), one had my old status, one had my current status, and another I don't recall.

I had rarely used preboarding benefit anyway, so it's moot for me what the boarding pass had displayed.

Congrats on your 10K posts on FT. Sorry that you and OP have lost the 1K status this year.

1K fell to PP also, but BP said 1K last night as well.

I didn't pre-board. I needed to practice lining up in the group 1 holding pen.

Thanks

It's a good trade off. I get value out of FT; can't say the same for United.

My husband and I flew yesterday (February 4) on separate PNRs. He was silver and when he originally got his BP, it still said Silver and he was still on the standby upgrade list. But sometime by the time we flew, the Silver disappeared from his BP and he fell off the upgrade lists. (His BP still had Premier Access on it, as he did have the Chase Presidential Plus card, and even though he downgraded that, that part still seems to be lingering.)

It gets you the highly vaunted "FlyerTalk Evangelist" notation below each and every post one makes or has made on FlyerTalk.

Surprised mine still has not updated as well even for a ticket booked last week. Still showing 1K despite not requalifying for this year when I checked in last night.

Hold tight before boarding. Try pre-boarding if you would desire to be in the 1K parade area.🤪

I've noticed this as well. Interestingly I bought all of my tickets in Dec/Jan for flights thru May. So will be interesting to see how long this continues.

3 flights so far in last week with 1K still on boarding passes. That I figured, ok, it's just the 1k still encoded into the boarding pass.

But on all 3 flights FA asked if I would like my free 1k meal. and the first one seemed surprised by my facial reaction so showed me the display on her screen and explained 1Ks such as myself get a free meal item (must have thought I was a new 1K). So I've enjoyed a few more TakeOff meals as well as the continued pre-boards.

Put me in this category. Dropped from 1K to Plat this year and my boarding pass for MIA-ORD still shows 1K for today. Given the likely poopshow at the gate, I will take it!

I suspect they're probably sweeping...my spouse's account showed Gold up until two days ago and now is Silver. Our itineraries where she is traveling with me have now updated as well.
