Should show as PQDs and PQFs. Needs more ticket details. All UA flights? I assume you're talking about a Future Flight Credit (FFC?)

FFC purchases do not change the PQP/PQFs earned. It is odd for a mainline flight not to show its earnings. UX sometimes, but more likely partner flight. Not a codeshare?
Is the FFC a fully unflown flight credit? A lot of time the earning will pop up in a day or two. |

Short on challenge due to cancelled flight
Looking for some opinions or advice. I recently completed a trip which should have put me just over the $18k challenge requirement. However, I'm now about $900 short of the threshold due to United canceled flight. I was supposed to fly home HKG-LAX-EWR on 20 April but the flight was cancelled due to maintenance. I was re-booked on a new itinerary the next day HKG-NRT-EWR except the HKG-NRT segment was on Hong Kong Airlines. I am thinking that I will never see the PQP for that segment. My question is, should I contact the GS desk asking for some type of review? It would seem very unfair if I'm penalized because of United's problem. Appreciate advice!

It seems to be a reasonable request, but given it’s a challenge where you would get status beyond the normal rules I could understand the logic of them saying no. But one would think that good customer relations given it was their problem would say they should give it to you. |

https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/show...ferrerid=19989 I would definitely reach out to UA. It had happened to me in the past. UA cancelled the flight and I was put on AA, and I claimed from UA for original route credit. There was another time, I got booked into BA and also claimed the PQD and PQF. In my situation, the tickets were 016 issue by UA. |
As an update, I wound up getting the original routing credit completed by contact the Mileage Plus Service Center. To my pleasant surprise, I was able to accomplish this by using the online chat feature. I had super low expectations but was feeling lazy. Took about an hour but ultimately the corrected PQD posted to my account. And last night I was automatically upgrade to GS. I'm back! ...until they kick me out again in January.

Was there ever any consensus on where renewals and first timers came in this year? I have a couple of employees who did not re-qualify at a hair over $50k, and a couple of first timers who did not get it at close to $60k.

Today flew LHR-DEN-LAS. The first segment put me over the threshold for the status challenge. While inflight to LAS, my status updated to GS.
That was a rough few months! |

Is there any evidence that the corporate GS freebie nominations went away as part of corp deals? Maybe GS involves getting to the travel manager that holds those in the company.
